Mozart feels strongly that Table Tennis is a great Olympic Sport. His goal is to make it accessible to everyone in the community.
His involvement in Table Tennis dates back to his childhood in Haiti. From being a player, delegate and now Technical Director for the Association Haitienne de Tennis de Table (AHTT), he has seen and experienced the benefits of playing the sport of Table Tennis, “up close”. Part of his role currently in the Haitian Table Tennis Association (AHTT) is to help implement the program directed toward kids “at risk” in Haiti. Mozart has experience running Table Tennis camps and clinics for kids, and also conducting coaching seminars in Haiti. He has participated in international coaching seminars (including the first Level II seminar, which was held in El Salvador).
He has taught Table Tennis at various schools in Massachusetts, including the Gann Academy, the International School of Boston (ISB), and the Atrium School. He has run table tennis programs for children at the Madison School in Dorchester as part of “Save Our Streets” organization. Mozart also ran programs at the Kennedy-Longfellow School in Cambridge and at the James P Timilty Middle School in Roxbury as part of the American Youth Table Tennis Organization (AYTTO). Mozart has experience working with US war veterans for the USOC Paralympics.
